It seems that I have spoken too soon.

Cowboy Brad (who is the Housekeeping director and also entertains tourists as country and western singer) called me yesterday to say that they have hired another person for the office assistant position.

So the idea that I was asssured of the position was an assumption on my part--fueled by Tina--and you know what happens when you assume.... But I was told today that the ultimate decision was "handed down from on high." What ever that means.

In other news, I think I'll combine my housewarming party with an American Idol viewing this Tuesday.
